Benazir Bhutto Daughter Of The East. Ok. So it was my first experience of reading an autobiography of any political personality and yeah it was quite amazing. It is an autobiography of Benazir Bhutto the first female prime minister of Muslim world. Infact it is not just an autobiography but is the tale of fight of a daughter for her father's life, memoir of efforts for restoring democracy and struggle to maintain the spirit of freedom. It is the story of a student to life of leader. Like me if you never supported her ideas but after reading the horrendous atrocities she had to face and the cruelties she had to endure by Martial law regime you will not be able to resist to admire her courage.

So, no doubt it's an amazing inspirational book but I think so it's biased and it is quite normal to be biased as it is autobiography, the one person's opinion.
One of the most important thing in this book is that she also discussed various controversies especially the promotion of taliban by than ISI head and also talked about "super (stupid) idea" of ISI to take over Sirinagar but she didn't much talk about the Al Zulfiqar, militant group formed by her brothers and didn't condemn the hijacking of PIA plane by Al Zulfiqar. Even she didn't disclose that who killed Mir Murtaza and what was the conflict betweer her and her mother.???
Now would I recommend this book?
Yes definitely I would recommend everyone, specially every woman to read this book. Even if you have reservations on her actions or policies, go and make a read because I think this is very inspirational book and it would be quite beneficial.
